Through the establishment of the \u201cAUO-NYCU Joint Research Center,\u201d AUO and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University can systematically build a long-term, interdisciplinary collaboration. This partnership aims to realize the vision of a fully immersive human-machine collaboration society, transitioning from tangible display panels to the ultimate state where \u201cform follows function,\u201d free from fixed physical constraints.<\/p>\n
In the first phase, we focus on transitioning the company from automation to autonomy, with \u201cHolistic Smart Manufacturing\u201d as the core theme. This phase will be guided by both vertical and horizontal technology development strategies. The vertical strategy aims to deepen smart manufacturing (Go Deep, Go Premium), while the horizontal strategy seeks to expand technologies into selected vertical application domains (Go Verticals). By leveraging AUO’s subsidiary ecosystem in automotive displays, health care, and medical displays, these technologies will be horizontally deployed and implemented across AUO\u2019s four key vertical application fields: smart transportation, smart healthcare, smart retail, and smart entertainment.
